Hygge Sounds — Terms of Use

By downloading or using Hygge Sounds (the “App”), you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please do not install or use the App.

1. App Description

Hygge Sounds provides relaxing nature sounds, ambient noises, and binaural beats designed to help users improve sleep, relaxation, and focus. The App is intended for personal, non-commercial use.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use the App. The App is not directed toward children under 13 in accordance with COPPA.

3. Subscriptions and Purchases

The App may offer optional subscriptions, in-app purchases, or free trials.

• Payments: Payments are processed through Apple App Store or Google Play Store. We do not store or handle your payment information.
• Renewal: Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the renewal date.
• Cancellation: You may cancel a subscription anytime via the platform settings.
• Free Trials: Unused portions of a trial are forfeited once a subscription is purchased.

4. User Responsibilities

You agree not to use the App for unlawful or harmful purposes, attempt to reverse engineer or modify the App, or tamper with the App's servers or networks.

5. Intellectual Property

All content in Hygge Sounds — including sounds, UI design, logos, and text — is protected by copyright and intellectual property laws. You may not copy, distribute, or resell any content without permission.

6. Third-Party Services

The App uses third-party SDKs:

• Firebase Analytics & Crashlytics (analytics & diagnostics)
• RevenueCat (subscription management)

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties. We do not guarantee uninterrupted operation, absence of errors, or improvement of sleep or relaxation outcomes.

8. Limitation of Liability

We are not responsible for loss of data, damages from use or inability to use the App, or issues caused by third-party services. Your sole remedy is discontinuing use of the App.

9. Privacy

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms occasionally. Continued use of the App after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
